Residence

Applicant must be a citizen of the United States and a resident of Pennsylvania.

Minimum Education

High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Although a college degree is not required, educational experience beyond the high school level is helpful. Persons interested in entering this occupation are encouraged to take courses in wildlife management, environmental sciences, police sciences and similar fields.

Age

Not less than 21 years as of the date of enrollment at the Training School.

Height & Weight

Weight must be proportional to height and body frame.

Vision

• Be able to read 20/70 or better with better eye without corrective lenses.
• Be able to read 20/200 or better with poorer eye without corrective lenses.
• Be able to read 20/20 or better with better eye with corrective lenses.
• Be able to read 20/40 or better with poorer eye with corrective lenses.
• Have normal color and depth perception.
