Fourteen, five person teams ascended on the St. Joseph Township Centennial Grounds in Richards Landing, Ontario, for the 2017 NAWEOA Warden Skills Games.

Officers from all corners of North America competed at six skills stations testing their knowledge and agility. A maximum of fourteen points was awarded to the winning team, at each station, to determine the overall winner for the event. Stations included, a Crime Scene Investigation, Dog Sled Race, Snowshoe Race, Ontario & Canadian Trivia, Water Balloon Launch and Furbearer Identification. PA Game Commission Officers WCO Mike Reeder, WCO Larry Hergenroeder and DWCO Kirt Snyder were joined by Manitoba Wildlife Officer Murray Breemersch and Utah Wildlife Officer Wyatt Bubak to form team “Duty Free” and took second place honors for the event.
