2008 Membership
Information
The Conservation Officers of Pennsylvania Association (COPA) was
organized to promote professionalism and fraternalism among the Commonwealth's Waterways
and Wildlife Conservation Officers, and to continue, and enhance, the spirit of
understanding and cooperation that exists between our officers and the public.
COPA is affiliated with the North American Wildlife Enforcement Officers
Association (NAWEOA), an international association for conservation professionals.
All Pennsylvania state conservation officers, regardless of rank or
title, salaried or part time, who are in good standing in the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, or have officially served and are retired, are eligible for regular
membership in the Association.
MEMBERSHIP POLICY
No member, or applicant for membership, will be discriminated against
based on sex, creed, race, religion or physical condition.
COPA Membership
Regular Membership is open to any commissioned wildlife or waterways conservation
officer (district or deputy, active or retired) who is in good standing in the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Associate Membership in COPA is available to any person over
twelve years of age who is of good moral character.
